How Long Does It Take to Build a Pool?
One of the most common questions we hear is: “How long will my pool take to build?”
The answer depends on the size and complexity of the project, but setting realistic expectations is important. Before construction begins, most projects require design work, HOA approval, and permitting, which can take around 30 days or more.
Once construction starts, a simple pool may take as little as 2–3 months, while projects with spas, outdoor kitchens, cabanas, or significant elevation changes can take 4–6 months or longer. Large custom backyard transformations may take 9 months or more.
